A dirt trail that runs completely through a wooded area. There are spots with exposed roots and uneven terrain.

A short trail adjacent to the Rough River campground and dam providing visitors with a nice forested walk or run. Access the trail at either the Army Corps of Engineers office or via access points within the campground.

The trail provides an interesting view of an old pioneer cabin as well as chances to see and hear birds and small animals. The trail does have some areas where small hills angle upwards from the direction of the river and towards the Engineers office. This trail can easily link to the park's Walking and Marina trails via the Lodge Road.

Seasonal birds and small animals such as squirrels. Nice fall colors since this trail is within a hardwood forested area.
